PETERSON Mathew Dennis (Matt) April 28, 1928 (North Battleford, SK) April 30, 2006 ( Red Deer, AB) Mathew Peterson, beloved and devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on April 30, 2006. He will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife, Mary; his daughter Arlene; his son Wes (Lori), and his two grandchildren Joel and Alyssa. He is also survived by two sisters, Lillian Tilden and Pauline Lewis, as well as many relatives and friends. Mathew was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Pauline Peterson, his sister Mickey Smith, 3 brothers-in-law, Pat Lewis, Spencer Smith and Baron Tilden as well as three nephews, Jim, Jerry and Ron Lewis. A very sincere thank you to the Unit 32 / Palliative Unit staff, Dr. Tarukandirwa, Dr. Thain, Dr. Ligate and the Red Deer Hospice Society who provided Mathew with excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730a Ross Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 1X2. A private family interment will take place at Alto-Reste Memorial Gardens. A celebration of Matt's life will be held in the Gull Lake Room of the Red Deer Lodge, 4311-49th Ave., Red Deer, AB on Thursday, May 4, 2006 from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm.
