CHIASSON, MAURICE After a courageous battle with cancer, Maurice Joseph Chiasson passed away at the age of 53 years. He leaves to mourn, his sons: Maurice Jr. (Pam), Michael and Kenneth (Heather); his grandchildren: Brody, Kyle, Noah, Emily, Abagail, Katherine, Andrew, Kinsey and Bladin. Also mourning his passing are brothers Fern (Georgie), Bob (Marie), Donald (Judy), and Hedord (Violet), sisters: Alexia, and Geraldine; sisters-in-law: Pat, Fran, Betty, Irene and Dorothy as well as their spouses, brothers-in-law; Jerry and Donnie and their spouses. He will also be deeply missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Maurice was predeceased by his beloved wife Brenda. He is also predeceased by his daughter-in-law Lori, Brothers: Medore and Romauld as well as sister Blondine. Friends and family who wish to pay their respects are invited to Parkland Funeral Home between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007 and also on Saturday one hour before the service begins. Funeral Services for the late Mr. Maurice Chiasson will be held from the Chapel of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 67 A Street, Red Deer, Alberta at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2007 with Pastor Mark Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Alto Reste Memorial Gardens, Red Deer County. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the many caregivers in the Red Deer Cancer Unit as well as Unit 32 Palliative at Red Deer Regional Hospital.
