MCEWEN Damien Lee It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Damien Lee McEwen on January 29th, 2009 near Stony Plain, AB at the age of 27years. He leaves to mourn his loving family; mother, Janice Williams of Red Deer, AB., father, Ken (Rene) McEwen of North Battleford, SK., brothers, Shayne (Amanda), and Derek of Red Deer, AB; grandfather, Bud Williams of Maidstone, SK. He will also be missed by his loving nieces, Jaeda Chamberlain and Celeste Jensen-McEwen, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Damien was predeceased by his two grandmothers, Kathleen Williams and Marguerite McEwen. Damien was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He will truly be missed, and was taken from us too soon. Friends may pay their respects to Damien at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287- 67A Street, Red Deer, AB on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for the late Damien Lee McEwen will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from The Capri Hotel & Convention Centre, Exhibition Hall, 3310-50 Avenue, Red Deer, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations in Damien’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730A Ross Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 1X2.Condolences may be forwarded to the family at www.parklandfuneralhome.com. In living memory of Damien Lee McEwen, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park in the Red Deer County, AB.
