OTTO Melvin Leo Otto of Lacombe passed away peacefully at the Lacombe Hospital after a short and courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at the age of 76. Melvin subsequently began farming with his wife Enid and family. He continued farming in the Lakeside area for over 50 years. Melvin loved going to auction sales, collecting antique tractors and enjoyed memberships in the Antique Tractor and Lapidary clubs. He was also a snow bird. Melvin and Enid looked forward to going to Arizona most winters. His special enjoyment was being with family and friends - his eyes lit up when he knew someone was coming to visit. He was truly a gentle human being.
