The family of Melwood Floyd Stehr is saddened to announce his passing on August 15, 2022, at the age of 86 years.
Mel will be sadly missed by his 7 children: Steven (Dory) of Crossfield, AB, Kelly (Irene) of Calgary, AB, Bernice Bennett (Rod) of Dapp, AB, Beverly Crabbe (Jack) of Innisfail, AB, Jay (Cathy) of Chestermere, AB, Natalie of Edmonton, AB, and Jonathan (Amelie) of Okotoks, AB. He was proud to be a grandfather to 12 grandchildren: Jared, Annie, Derek, Justin, Ryan, Katelyne, Jessica, Ashleigh, Candace, Logan, Ethan, Levi, and 9 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Lydia (Mauer) of Hazenmore, Sask; and his brothers: Gordon, Clarence, Lorne, and Wilbert.
It was Mel's wishes that his legacy be remembered with a private family celebration.
