Mr. Michael Atkinson of Red Deer, AB passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the age of 47 years. Left to mourn his passing are his parents, Lilly and William R Atkinson; brother, William A Atkinson; sister-in-law, Val Atkinson; niece, Erin; nephew, Liam; best friend, Ken Siemens; good friend, Mike Smith; numerous cousins and extended family, and dear friends. Mike was born in Calgary, AB in 1970 and lived his entire life in Alberta.
A Memorial Service will be held at Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Hwy 2A, Lacombe, AB on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Mike's family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Red Deer Regional Hospital and to the RDRHC Home Care staff for their expert care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Mike may be directed to St. Andrew's United Church, Lacombe or to the Salvation Army.
