Michel THEVENAZ

THEVENAZ Michel (Mitch) Andre Thevenaz of Bentley passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 11, at his winter home in Yuma, Arizona. Mitch was born at Gull Lake, SK, December 9, 1921 and moved to Sylvan Lake with his parents in 1935. He moved and farmed in the Bentley area in 1946. Mitch also worked at the Lacombe Experimental Farm for 10 years. He was a charter and a life time member of the Bentley Elks Club. He is survived by his loving wife Jean of Bentley. Two sons and their families: David and Brenda and their children Shad, Drew and Logan of Bentley. Maurice and Valerie and their daughters Lindsey and Kendra of Drumheller. He was predeceased by one son Charles in 1969. His mother Bertha in 1964 and his father Maurice in 1976. Also one sister Mary Rose and one brother Gustave in 1919. Memorial Service will be held on December 2, 2005, at 2 p.m. from Bentley United Church with Rev. Ray Goodship officiating. Interment will follow in the Bentley Cemetery. If friends desire donations may be made to the Bentley United Church Memorial Fund.
