Millie passed away at sunrise Tuesday Jan. 14, 2014 at the St. Joseph's Hospice in Edmonton, AB. Born in Edmonton in 1941, moved to Red Deer in 1952 where she completed her education. In her life she lived in Red Deer, France, Lethbridge, Camrose and back to Edmonton. She is survived by her husband Jim and two sons, David Van de Vliert and Gary Van de Vliert, grandson Justin and great granddaughter Paige. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Alissha. A funeral service will be held in Edmonton, Saturday January 25 at 1 pm. at Richfield Christian Assembly 3715-85 St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 47-Squire Bakers Lane, Markham Ont. L3P 3G8
