Morris was born March 18, 1936 in Odence, Denmark and passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, February 21, 2019.

Morris arrived in Canada with his family in 1950 and settled in the Rimbey area. He then moved to Calgary where he met his lovely bride Helen, they were married 57 years. Morris and Helen lived in Calgary for 45 years, had four daughters. They relocated to Red Deer after retiring, were they lived for next twenty-five years.

Morris is survived by his wife Helen (Bota), their four daughters Elle (Perry) Jamart, Cheryl Jones, Betty (Dennis) Rudnik, and Christine Simpson. Their ten grandchildren, Kurtis, Emily, Garreth, Izzy, Mike, Cody, Morriah, Corey, Kaleb and Karter; one great grandson Kendrick. A long haul truck driver for 35 years, Morris was also founder of National Freight Systems, MH Transport Ltd, and AnneMor Express Ltd. He employed many people doing business in the transport business for over 20 years.

Morris lived a full life, loved to golf the first Tee time of the day. Morris was happiest when spending time with his family and friends gathered together full of laughter, food and drink.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed. Sympathies and condolences can be sent to Helen Nornberg at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, unit 32.
