MORSE Mrs. Donna Morse of Rimbey, Alberta passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the age of 70 years. Donna was born on August 25, 1938, and was raised on the family farm near Caroline, Alberta. She was united in marriage to Donald Morse, and together they raised their children in Calgary, then returned to farming east of Hoadley in 1981. In 1993, they retired and moved into Rimbey. Donna will live on in the memories of her children, Laura (Lorne) Hicks of Bluffton; Patricia Morse of Prince George, B.C.; and Charles Morse of Red Deer; as well as in the memories of six grandchildren, Shane Hicks (Tiffany); Donna-Marie (Brad) Reis; Chad Drake; Aidan Morse; Meara Morse; and Melissa Morse. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister, Anna (Irven) Leeti of Sylvan Lake; and a very special family friend, Sharon Milgate of Calgary; in addition to many nieces, nephews and friends. Donna was predeceased by her loving husband, Donald Morse in 1998; her grandson, Jared Hicks in 2001; her parents, James and Olga Siddon; as well as her siblings, Dorothy, Michael, Archie, Olga, Elsie, Robert, Oda and Chester. With respect for Donna's wishes, no formal funeral service will take place. Cremation took place in Red Deer, Alberta. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
