MOSCHENROSS Mrs. Mary Thelma Moshchenross our gentle loving Mother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the age 96 years. Mary was born in 1910 in Pt. Robinson, Ontario, to Harriet and Ernest Wilson, she was one of seven children. Mary in her early years lived in the Peace River Country and later moved to Edmonton where she worked at Eatons. In 1936 Mary married Lee Moschenross and together raised their three daughters on their family farm in Hillsdown, east of Red Deer. Mary was a charter member of the Women's Institute. Her major interest was creating a warm and loving home for her family. She loved to bowl, curl and go fishing. In her later life she developed an interest in water color painting and writing short stories. She had a life long interest in reading. Besides her loving husband of 70 years Lee, Mary is survived by her daughters, Betty (Harry) Afaganis of Lethbridge, Helen (Allen) Russell of Penticton, Doreen (Stanley) Linneberg of Edmonton; grandchildren Alexander (Rachelle) Afaganis, Matthias, Alexa; Jim (Alison) Afaganis; Kent (Anita) Russell, Bryce, Cody; Dean Russell (Dawn Renaud), Nicole Berg; Colin (Chrissy Maude) Linneberg, Krysta, Jaycob; Kimberley (Wesley) Grenke, Cassandra, Julia, Meghan and Rachel and sister Helen Robertson of Edmonton. Mary was predeceased by her sisters Elsie, Bertha, Jean and brothers Jack and George. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those who wish to honour Mary's memory may donate to a charity of one's choice.
