HARRIMAN Muriel Muriel Peace Harriman passed away at the Lacombe Palliative Care Unit surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the age of 90 years. Muriel was born and raised in Vulcan, Alberta. In 1936 she married Herb Harriman and they relocated to Lacombe. All who knew Muriel would certainly rave about her excellent sense of humor, her delicious fried chicken and her skills at any card game. Muriel will be lovingly remembered and missed by so many friends. Muriel is survived by her daughter, Beth (Don) Pollock and son, Ray (Darlene) Harriman as well as grandchildren Alda (Jayson), Paul (Heather), Raymond (Kristin), Allison, Matthew (Kasandra), Shauna (Darren) and Herb. Muriel is also survived by four great grand children. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Herb in 1998 and her son Larry in 1999. Kudos and thank you to the ambulance staff, nurses and doctors in emergency and on unit B at the Lacombe Hospital. The care was exemplary.
