MALSBURY (Underwood) Muriel Winnifred 1921 - 2009 Muriel Winnifred Malsbury passed away peacefully on Sunday September 13, 2009 with her loving family by her side. She passed away at Bethany Collegeside at the age of 87 years. Muriel is survived by 5 daughters; Joan Schmelke, Faye Malsbury; Marion Malsbury (Ken Hoskin), Marie Matheson (David Wennerstrom), Jacqueline Ross (Rick McNutt) as well as her son, Douglas (Darlene) Malsbury. Her memory will also be cherished by her 16 grandchildren; Lisa, Denver, Stephanie, Spencer, Colby, Holly, Katie, Autumn, Megan, Caley, Zachery, Charlie, Muriel, Fern, Marie and Gary; her 14 great grandchildren; Tanner, Carson, Madison, Jaxson, Dashiell, Wesley, Emerald, Ayden, Olivia, Will, Nathan, Mattea, Gradie and Addley. Muriel also leaves to mourn her 2 brothers, Ronnie (Margaret) Underwood and Jack (Mary) Underwood; her special little sister/niece, Cecelie (Bob) Lougheed; brother-in-law, Stan (Iona) Malsbury; sister-in-law, Elaine Malsbury as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt. Muriel was predeceased by her loving husband, John; her parents, Leslie and Ida; her sister, Phyllis Graham; 2 sons-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law. A Celebration of Life Service for the late Muriel Malsbury will be held on Saturday September 19th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67 A Street, Red Deer, AB. A private family inurnment will take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Pine Lake, Alberta.
