MURPHY 1931- 2007 Mr. Ronald "Ron" Murphy of Innisfail, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Innisfail Health Centre, on Sunday, October 7, 2007, at the age of 76 years. Ronald was born on March 10, 1931 at Peace River, Alberta. The family moved to Edmonton where he took his grade one. Later that year they moved to the farm in the Mount Pleasant District east of Innisfail, where he grew up. Ron married Audrey Herbert of Pine Lake in 1951. They settled in the Mount Pleasant District and raised three children. He is survived by his loving wife Audrey Murphy of Innisfail, a daughter, Nancy Murphy of Beauval, Saskatchewan, a son, Mike (Bev) Murphy of Innisfail, Alberta, a daughter Linda (Gary) McCormick, three grandsons, Travis, Trevor and Kyle McCormick all of Innisfail, Alberta and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Bessie Murphy and brother-in-law, Jack Gray. A Funeral Service will be held at the Pine Lake Hub, Pine Lake, Alberta on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery.
