Murray Nixon Taylor, age 89 years, passed away at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street site on Remembrance Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Marion Elizabeth (Dunstan) Taylor (1986). Loving father of John Taylor (Marion) of Brockville, Ontario, Paul Taylor (Noreen) of Oakville, Ontario, and Gordon Taylor (Irene) of Red Deer, Alberta. Cherished grandfather of Kimberley (Greg), Christine (Blair), Michael (Melissa), Mark (Melanie), Allison and Marie and great grandfather of Ella, Isabel, Brooke and Camille. Also survived by a brother Donald Taylor and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lee and Mina (Nixon) Taylor, brothers Albert and Howard Taylor. Mr. Taylor returned to Sarnia after WW II service for a successful career at Taylor's Furniture Store. Among his many service commitments to the community, Mr. Taylor was dedicated to Devine Street United Church, and in later years, a proud member of Central United Church. Sam, his beloved cat, will miss him dearly. At the request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral service at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Creemore Cemetery at a later date. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
