MCQUISTON Myra Anne Myra Anne McQuiston was born on November 16, 1955 in Calgary and died peacefully on May 2, 2009 in Red Deer after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Friends and family were by her side. Myra is survived by her mother, Annie McQuiston of Red Deer; brothers, Jim (Velda) McQuiston of Caroline and their children; Jamie, Karene, Bev, Rob and Ian; Grant (Cathy) McQuiston of Caroline and their children; Wendy, Lisa and Heidi; sister, Bonnie Jean Brown of Eckville (Don Tymchuk) and Jean's children, Jason, and Garrett. Her very special friends were; Sharon Hovey, Arlene Wilson, Mary-Ann Barr, Michelle Mayr, Gerry Halford, Sheila Bakke, Dionne Robertson and Susan Wolfe as well as many other friends. Myra was predeceased by her father, Fred McQuiston and brother-in-law, Terry Brown. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society, Red Deer Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Red Deer Food Bank, Red Deer SPCA or a charity of the donor's choice.
