WATSON Myrna Ruth (Nee Clutton) 1930 – 2008 Myrna Ruth Watson passed away at the age of 77 on August 13, 2008 at Red Deer Regional Hospital. She leaves to morn her passing, her husband of 54 years, Alan Watson, her sons, Dale (Jenny) and Steven (Lynette) Watson and grand-children, Stephnie, Shawn, Jody, Melinda, Cheri and Shannon. She will be dearly missed by her brothers Roy, Dave, Glen, Andy, and sisters, Ella, Alice, Joyce and numerous nieces, nephews and friends all of whom she treasured. She was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Thala Clutton, parents-in-law, Joyce and Harold Watson, her sister Edith Fagrie and her sister-in-law, Lillie Clutton. Myrna was born November 11, 1930 in Delburne and was raised on the family farm at Belgrove. She attended Belgrove School and later moved to Red Deer and worked in the retail business until her marriage to Alan Watson on April 23, 1954. Myrna was involved in numerous volunteer activities for several charities throughout her years and was a long time member of the United Church. She enjoyed participating in many sports, especially golf, curling and skating. She was an excellent seamstress and gardener. She greatly enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow and they were the love of her life. Another joy of Myrna's was getting together for afternoon tea with her neighborhood friends. Myrna's love, humor, unselfish generosity and fellowship will be sadly missed. A celebration of Myrna's Life will be held at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta, Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
