MYROL

March 10, 2005

MYROL It is with profound sadness that the family of Constable Brock Warren Myrol, a man of honor, dignity and respect, made the ultimate sacrifice and lost his life in the line of duty at May- erthorpe, Alberta on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at the age of 29 years. Brock was born on May 21, 1975 at Outlook, Saskatchewan. The family moved to Red Deer when Brock was eight years old. Brock was an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed exploring, hiking and traveling. He was accomplished in Martial Arts and earned a Black Belt in Shoot Wrestling. Brock was a very bright, eager and intense man who had the highest dedication, loyalty and com- mitment to every task life dealt. Whether it was through his work, his family, or his friends, Brock had the utmost regard for each problem that needed to be solved; listening to a friend in need, or helping out in the community. In August of 2004, Brock fulfilled his lifelong dream and joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He graduated from the Training Academy on February 7, 2005 and had the distinction of presenting the Valedictorian Speech to his graduating class. To us, his family, Brock was and always will be – “Our Hero”. His legacy will be forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of his loving family, fellow officers and trusted and devoted friends. Brock leaves to mourn his loss, his loving parents, Keith and Colleen Patricia ‘Trish’; his sister, Kalhanie (Robert) Stillings and their children, Blake, Rachel and Lauren and his fiancé, Angel Steeves. Brock will also be sadly missed by his grandmothers, Frances Myrol and Iris Anholt, both of Outlook, Saskatchewan, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brock was predeceased by his grandfathers, Ben Myrol and Hartwell Anholt. A
