RADAU, Nancy

Sept. 8, 1929 – Mar. 5, 2017

Nancy was born on the family farm east of Red Deer. She graduated from the Red Deer High School and then went on to study at the Holy Cross Hospital and to become a registered Lab Technologist.

In July 1952 Nancy married the love of her life, Frank where together they raised five children, Tony (Ramona), Penny (Ken), Randy (Sandra), Holly (Nawang) and Perry (Eunmi).

As well as helping with the farming and Coulee Crest Herefords, Nancy worked at the Olds Associate Clinic for five years and later was treasurer for a number of organizations. Parkland Hereford Belles, Nisbet District Women, Bowden United Church and Bowden Friends Club.

She was a devoted member of the Bowden United Church where she sang in the choir for more than 50 years. She was also a member of the Betchton – Nisbet U.C.W. where she made and donated many quilts for different charities.

Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Annie Puzey, her sister Mary Glover, her brother Henry and brother-in-law Sid. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Frank and her brother Vernon as well as seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, her children, daughters-in-law and sons-in-law also many cousins and dear friends.

A service will be held on March 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Bowden United Church. If desired in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Bowden United Church, the Central Alberta Cancer Centre or the charity of the donor’s choice.
