NEIGUM 1923- 2007 Mr. Joseph Peter “Joe” Neigum beloved husband of Jean of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at the age of 84 years. Joe was born on April 1, 1923 at Unity, Saskatchewan. He was raised in Kelowna, British Columbia. Joe served in the Army and after his tour of duty was completed he moved to Alberta, where he met and married his loving wife Jean. He had many passions in life, spending time with his grand children, dancing, cooking and hauling cattle were some of his favorites. Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean of Red Deer, his children, Brenda, Joe, Theresa and Loree all of Red Deer, Ronnie and Roy both of Kelowna, British Columbia, his dog and best friend, Minnie, five grandchildren, Chad, Amanda, Cody, Anthony and Shanaya all of Red Deer, a great grandson, Seth of Red Deer, three sisters, Rose, Phoebe, Betty, four brothers, Adam (Marge), Wilf, Don and Matt. Joe was predeceased by his father, Joseph; mother, Rose; two brothers, Nick and Johnny. A Funeral Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Horn Hill Cemetery, Penhold, Alberta.
