It is with great respect, love, and immense sadness that the family of Alfred Neil Garvin announce his passing on October 4, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
Dad was predeceased by mom, Thora Jean Garvin (Edwards) in 2011.
Dad is survived by his daughter Kate/Cathy Hallet and Mike Admussen (Kevin and Crystal-Gayle Hallet and their sons Blake and Nolan; Krista and Tyrone McLeod and their son Rylee; Tyler Hallet and Chelsea Dehoop); his daughter Eira Marie and Brad Romans (Scott and Ayumi and their sons Kye and Shaun; Michelle and Doug Child and daughter Adaline; and Christine); his son Alf and Julia Garvin (Sarah Garvin and Blair Jubinville; Josh; and Grace).
Dad is also survived by his special friend Ivy Wilson and extended family members Wynne Dempster and Lorne Hallet.
A Celebration of dad's life will be held at the Deer Park Alliance Church, 2960 - 39 St, Red Deer, AB on Monday, October 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m.
