Nina Marie Bischke, at the age of 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on November 23, 2024.
Nina was predeceased by her son Terry, and her husband Alfred. Nina leaves to mourn her loss, one son Dean and his wife Brenda, and her two grandchildren, Amanda and Dustin.
Nina was a teacher, working all of her career for Red Deer Public Schools. She loved any opportunity to visit with her family, particularly enjoying the festive get togethers of Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and any other day of celebration that involved preparing a meal. She grew up on a farm, her green thumb remaining with her throughout life, including this past summer when she continued to grow and harvest her garden. Nina enjoyed sewing her own clothes and various quilts. Nina enjoyed travelling. Her last trip this September was a family journey along Icefields parkway and various regions of Canmore. Nina had busy hands every hour of every day. She was very positive about life and appreciated every experience, large or small.
In compliance with Nina's request, there will be a private service.
