On August 15, 2018, Norman Richard Lowe, at age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in the Red Deer Hospital.

Norman is predeceased by parents Rudolph and Ida Lowe, siblings Gordon, Edith/Edie, Peter, Lawrence (Phyllis), Marjorie Bartko (Andy), Lorna Sandau (Harold), Dorothy Hopkins (Dave), and Ralph.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Lucille, sons Rudy (Fran), Glen (Joy), Tom (Juanita), daughters Jocelyn Gomolchuk (Gerard), Becky Alexander (John), 13 cherished grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Siblings Don, Betty Wulff (Stan), Thelma Snell (Bob), sister in law Kay (Ralph). Many dear nieces, nephews and friends.

Norman loved family, farming, music, poetry, birds and all forms of nature. He was always willing to lend a hand or help someone in need. Norman had a flair for conversation adding gentle kind words, wisdoms and witty humour. Family and friends are blessed to have many memories of good times.

Thank you from the family to the staff at the Red Deer Funeral Home and Crematorium for their tender guidance in a difficult time. To respect Normans wishes no funeral services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Lending Cupboard in Red Deer AB. May he rest easy now in that peaceful valley.
