OKADA 1927 - 2009 Mrs. Rita Okada passed away in the presence of her chosen family, Marlene, Brian, Marcus and Aaron on Wednesday, September 30th, 2009, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, at the age 82 years. Rita was born on July 18th, 1927 at Toronto, Ontario. Rita is survived by her longtime friends, Brian and Marlene Barritt and her "nephews" Marcus and Aaron Sirman, as well as the beloved dog Emma who knew Rita as "Grandma", all of Red Deer, Alberta. Rita is also survived by her nephew, Larry Rudyk and her dear friend Dorothy Kendal - Boyd, both of Ontario. Rita was predeceased by her husband Paul in 2005. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, October 5th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Central Alberta Crematorium Ltd., Red Deer, Alberta.
