It is with great sadness that the family of Orlando Córdoba Vargas announces his passing after an illness, on Friday, October 23, 2020, at the age of 75 years. Orlando will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Aminta and his four daughters, Norma (Henry), Yaneth (Alexander), Milena (Dairo), and Carolina (Sumeet).
Orlando will also be fondly remembered by his twelve grandchildren, Angela, Andrés, Leidy, Nicolas, Kevin, Karla, Victor, Nicole, Michael, Paula, Sebastian and Angelina, by his sister Eliza and his bother Miller.
Orlando was predeceased by his grandson Oscar Orlando, his brothers Floresmino, Justino and Nepo, and his sisters Amira and Leticia.
Orlando will be remembered as a passionate professional photographer; he always had a camera on his hands to take pictures of his family and landscapes. Orlando had the most beautiful smile and always had kind words for everyone. Known by his coworkers at Baker Hughes as a role model employee, he enjoyed his work for 18 years.
The family is sincerely thankful to the staff of the Central Alberta Cancer Center for their care during last year.
A Funeral Service in memory of Orlando will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 1 pm at St. Mary's Parish, 6 McMillian Ave, Red Deer. Burial to follow.
