OSTROWSKI 1932 - 2009 Adeline Ostrowski of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospice on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Adeline was raised on the family farm near Roblin, Manitoba. Over the years, Adeline was employed as a cook and baker in a number of mining and other work camps. Together with Jozsef, her husband of 29 years, they enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and the outdoors. Adeline also liked to keep her hands busy with the various hobbies and crafts she so enjoyed. Left to cherish Adeline's memory are her husband Jozsef Jando; one sister Veronica (Ed) Yeroschak of Yorkton, Saskatchewan; one nephew; five nieces and numerous friends. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Dr. Callisto Tarukandirwa, Dr. A. Williams, the nurses on Unit 32 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre and also to the Red Deer Hospice Centre for the care and compassion they extended to Adeline. Prayers will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508 - 48 A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. Memorial donations in honor of Adeline may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730 A - Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 1X2.
