Two more sons blessed their family, Ray in 1940 and John in 1942. Otto then went to work on the Alaska Highway and area logging camps to supplement their income. They mixed farmed at first then specialized in dairy and were proud of their herd of Ayrshires. They had are very good helpful neighbors and always enjoyed visiting and playing cards. Otto and Alice moved to Eckville in 1981 and in 2003 relocated to Eckville Manor where they made many good friends.
