Mr. Otto Albert Charles Zelt of Red Deer, Alberta passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the age of 52 years. Otto has gone to be with his best friends, Andy Payne and Neil Zak, in heaven. Otto grew up on the family farm near Markerville, Alberta and resided in Red Deer for most of his life. Otto loved to ski, swim, dance and sing.
Otto will lovingly be remembered by his sister; Edith Oxley (Dave), a brother, Paul Zelt (Nelia), his nephews, Travis Oxley (Laura, Carson and Samantha), Robin Oxley (Kristin), Josh Zelt, Chris Zelt, Steven Loov and Anders Loov; and a niece Nicky Ballinger (Matthew). Otto is predeceased by his parents, Miriam and Lorenz Zelt and a sister, Donna Loov.
A special thank you to Rita, Audrey, Julie and the staff of Parkland Community Living and Supports Society. Otto left a smile on most people he met and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Otto's Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
