Mrs. Patricia Jean Byers of Red Deer passed away at her home on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the age of 57 years. Patricia was born on March 6, 1953 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where she grew up. After high school she received her LPN in Saskatoon and Swift Current where she met and married Jim Byers, they were married for 34 years. Patricia was employed by the Parsons Clinic for 25 years. She had many passions in life including crafts, love of animals, enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques and jewelry. One of Patricia's fondest memories was at Cochin, Saskatchewan where she spent her summers with her family. She was known for being a very friendly, caring person that extended beyond her friends and family. Beside her loving husband, Jim, Patricia is survived by her two sons, Jason Byers of Calgary, Alberta and Kent Byers of Singapore, her daughter, Lindsey Byers of Red Deer and her step-mother, Erica McCallum. She is also survived by her brother, Doug (Carol) McCallum of Calgary. Patricia was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Christina McCallum.
