January 10, 1945 - January 15, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Patrick 'Hugh' Lindsay, after a short battle with cancer, in Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the age of 74 years.

Hugh was born in Calgary, Alberta on January 10, 1945. His career in the Oil Patch took him and his family around the World, and his sense of humour carried him through to the end.

Hugh will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Helen; his mother, Elizabeth Skjonsberg; his children, Michael (Teresa), Heather, Joanne (Lee) Smith, and Graeme. He was a loving Grandpa to Craig, Arin, Shae and Atlin. Hugh will also be sadly missed by his extended family in Ontario.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Home Care who looked after him at home, and on Unit 32 and 31 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for their wonderful care.

Prayers will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta, on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Father Len Cadieux Celebrant.
