Pauline Ida McDonald of Alix, AB passed away peacefully and surrounded by love at The West Park Lodge on August 27, 2014 at the age of 100 years. Pauline is survived by her sons Evan (Skip), Roy (Irene), a special nephew Warren (Robin) Scott; 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters Violet and Betty as well as numerous family members and friends. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Ewen, daughter Margaret, granddaughter Cassandra, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. A celebration of Pauline's life will be held at Alix Community Hall on Saturday, August 30, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to STARS 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, AB or charity of donors choice.
