1929-2014
On March 23, 2014 Pearl Sarah Scott of Red Deer Alberta, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away at the age of 84 years. Pearl was profoundly dedicated to her husband, children, and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all. Her involvement in team sports continued throughout Pearl's life, whether she was participating herself or cheering on her children and eventually grandchildren. Her smile and laughter will be treasured forever by all who knew her. Pearl is survived by her loving family: son Greg Scott and wife Ellen of Red Deer; daughter Gail Scott of Calgary; daughter Carol Moen and husband Jim of Sherwood Park; grandchildren Sarah Cawsey and husband Dave, Jackie Pinsent and husband Dan, Lauren Ford, Alex Ford, Nicholas Moen and Christopher Moen; great grandchildren, Addison and Olivia Pinsent and Gabrielle and Elise Cawsey. She is also survived by her siblings Sam, Doug, Edith and Harry. Pearl was predeceased by her best friend and loving husband William Scott, Mother Rhoda Glover (née Bale), Father Joshua Glover, and siblings George, Alice, Mary, Stan, Bill, Rhoda, Flo, Ned and Ada. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Pearl's life will take place at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer, AB, on Friday March 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Red Deer and Central Alberta at 105, 4419-50 Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4N 3Z5 or online at www.canadahelps.org/dn/3344
