October 26, 1926 - July 16, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing our Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma Peggy Cook.
She lived a life full of grace and kindness until she passed away in Red Deer at the age of 92. Peggy was born in Hague Saskatchewan on October 26, 1926, the fourth youngest in a family of eleven.
She was predeceased by her soul mate Jack Cook, whom she met while teaching on a RCAF base in Marville France. They fell in love, got married and began a life filled with many wonderful memories as they moved through military postings with their children Diane and Grant.
Peggy was a huge part of her grandchildren's lives and spent many hours cheering on Lauren, Brent and David at sporting events. In more recent years her great-grandchildren Ella and Myer brought her joy all over again. Peggy also loved golfing in the ladies and seniors leagues at Balmoral.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane and son in-law Wilf, her three grandchildren; Lauren (Joe); Brent (Bernadette) and David and her great-grandchildren Ella and Myer. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Jack and her son Grant.
Sincere appreciation to Dr. Peter Mah and the staff at Point's West for their excellent care, kindness and compassion. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
