THOMAS Percy Allen Thomas passed away suddenly at the Northcott Centre in Ponoka, Alberta on February 17, 2009 at the age of 89. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 71 years, Ann of Eckville. Survived by one brother (Harry) Irvin Thomas of Vancouver, BC; five sons, Percy Jr. (Marilyn) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Philip (Eleanor) of Blackfalds, AB., Doug of Coronation, AB., Harry (Donna) of Leslieville, AB., Mike (Debbie) of Sylvan Lake, AB., a daughter-in-law Gwen (Ron Ferrey) of Sylvan Lake, AB., sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Percy was predeceased by an infant son in 1938 and son Tommy in 1993. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 23 at 2 PM. in Eckville at the Community Centre.
