With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Peter Chadwick (64) doing what he loved with family at Sunshine Ski Resort.
Pete is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Diane (Glover), his 2 daughters; Julie (Chris) Caverly, and Jamie (Curtis) Kuntz and the 'sunshine' of his life, his 5 grandchildren Cole, Dylan and Tegan Caverly and Abby and Josie Kuntz. Pete also leaves behind his 4 sisters; Saxon (Steve) Lambert, Pam Schiewe, Gail (Don) Hall, and Kerry McCorry as well as in laws; Keith & Sharalee, Dixie & Barney and many nieces and nephews that were dear to his heart. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Rodney and Patricia Chadwick; and Diane's parents, Vern and Pat Glover.
Pete was a genuine 'people' person as he cultivated special relationships with everyone he met. A loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and genuine friend he touched so many lives. He took pride in his job as an Engineer, loved sports in general especially golf, skiing, and curling. He was a special soccer coach and loved to cheer on the Stampeders and Maple Leafs. He cherished spending time with his extended family and friends and will be missed dearly.
A celebration of Pete's life will be on January 7th, 2020 at the Black Knight Inn in Red Deer, AB at 1:30 pm. In Pete's honor, please feel free to wear your favorite sports jersey. We will also be welcoming stories and memory sharing at the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
