June 21, 1936 - May 27, 2021
It saddens my heart to announce the passing of my father, Phil Davies of Salmon, BC, previously from Red Deer, Alta.
Predeceased by his sister Meghan Marshal 1965, parents Phylis & Watkin (Watty) Davies from Nordeg Alta(Wales UK) in 1980 and 1981. The love of his life, Carol May Davies(Skjonsberg) of Bentley Alta in 2009 and his three sons: Infant Parry Davies 1960, Philip Davies(Bear) 1987 and Trevor Davies 2015.
Phil leaves behind his daughter Roxanne Round(Vernon BC) and her three adult children Brandon, Geoffrey(Laurie) and Doriane(Bradley) Tasker. His daughter-in-law Denise Bouchard-Davies(St Albert Alta) and her three adult children: Philip(Nicole), Oliver and Nicolas.
Phil was very proud of his grandchildren and was looking forward to the birth of his first great grandchild this fall.
Also left to mourn are his sister Joyce(Roy), in-laws Rodger(Ursula), Beverly, Ken, Donna and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He had also stayed connected to his roots and relations in Wales UK.
Always a mover and shaker Phil received his plumbing and gas fitting red seal certifications beginning in 1959. He worked and moved the family all over Western Canada and the USA. Phil remained a lifetime member of good standing of Local 170. Phil had many lifelong friends and connected with new people easily.
Dad had a kind heart and helped many people in his lifetime. He wanted to and could, not for any further recognition or accolades.
Dad built their first home in Blackfalds Alta and then settled the family in Tsawwassen BC. He and mom then built their dream home in Tappen, BC. After mom passed he sold their home and lived out his life at Sun Ridge Estates where he had many good friends and neighbours.
Dad will be missed by many for his sense of Adventure, his sense of Humor and his kind heart. We the family will do our best to uphold your legacy and remember to laugh and live for today.
Rest in Peace dad.
