1931-2022 ~ It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis Ann McGhan of Leduc, AB on January 10th, at the age of 90 years.
Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Viola (Barry) Lazzer, and son Thomas (Janice) McGhan; daughter-in-law, Tami; 10 grandchildren (David, Christine, Carmen, Gregory, Leslie, Ryan, Michael, Cherice, Kimber-lee, and Scott); 12 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.
With a lifetime of community service, Phyllis will also be remembered by countless friends.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Alfred, daughter Susan and son Clayton. Phyllis had a special appreciation for grandson Michael who provided care and support following Alfred's passing.
Due to COVID, a private graveside service will be held for extended family on January 19th at 1 pm at the Red Deer City Cemetery. The family hopes to have a memorial/celebration in the late Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. David's United Church in Leduc.
