POTUER Mr. Albert Herman ‘Al’ Potuer of Red Deer, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the age of 69 years. Al was born on December 14, 1936 at Radville, Saskatchewan. He went on to become a Horticulturist and was employed for the Agriculture Canada Research Station in Lacombe, Alberta for over twenty years. Al was a very hardworking man and was very dedicated to his career. He was a man of very high morals, strong values and known for his integrity among his family, co-workers and friends. Al was a loving and devoted father who cared very deeply for his family. Al will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of his family and many good friends. Al leaves to mourn his loss, his loving children, Kim (Wayne) Dirsten of Caroline, Alberta, Rocky (Sharon) Potuer of Red Deer, Kelly Potuer of Portland, Oregon and Lynette (Lee) Hansen, also of Red Deer and his grandchildren, Courtney and Graham Potuer and Victoria and Elizabeth Hansen. He will also be very sadly missed by his brothers, Carl (Betty) Potuer of Red Deer and Robert (Betty) Potuer of Radville, Saskatchewan, his sister, Peggy (Laurent) Labelle of High River, Alberta, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Al was predeceased by his parents, Herman and Margaret and a son, Kevin. A Public Celebration of Al’s Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 – 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, December 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
