PRATT Mr. Glynn Roy Pratt of Red Deer beloved husband of Jan (Jeanette) Pratt passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre with his family at his side on December 25, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Glynn received his schooling in Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force on May 13, 1940 and retired from the services on January 14, 1970. Glynn and wife Jan took an early retirement in 1976 and headed "south" for 23 winter years. They also did a lot of traveling: visiting Europe, Mexico, and Hawaii and also enjoying three cruises. Glynn was a member of the Legion for 60 years and retired as Warrant Officer 1st Class. Glynn loved playing cards and was a member of the Red Deer Bridge Club as well as the Red Deer Legion Crib Club and Red Deer Legion Bridge Club. Glynn's memory will be cherished by his loving wife Jan, along with his daughters: Bonnie (Wayne) and Kathy (Ken); Sons: Roy, Rick and Rob (Dianne). His memory will be further cherished by his grandchildren: Mike (Jamie), Kelly (Chuck), Cam (Amy), Brandi, Adam, Jenny and Neil as well as by three great- grandchildren: Abby, Isabella and Elizabeth. A celebration of Glynn's life will be held in the reception room of the Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67A Street, Red Deer on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. with Reverend Don Lewis officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Glynn's name may be directed to the Central Alberta Cancer Centre, PO Bag 5030, Red Deer, AB T4N 6R2.
