PREGODA, Mr. Eldon James Pregoda of Red Deer, passed away following a courageous battle with M.S. at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Sunday, March 19, 2006 at the age of 35 years. Eldon was born on December 21, 1970 at Lacombe, Alberta. Eldon was a very kind, gentle and caring man who always saw the good in people. He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed life. Eldon loved spending time with his uncles, who were his mentors, working on old cars and learning all about their mechanics. He also found great enjoyment in fishing and camping outdoors, as well as being an avid Calgary Flames Fan. Eldon’s proudest accomplishment was his restored 1979 Ford Zepher. Eldon will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and cherished in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Eldon leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Debby Pregoda of Lacombe, his mother, Carol Solberg of Red Deer, his aunts and uncles, Doug (Judy) Solberg of Beaver Lodge, Alberta, John (Darlene) Overman of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Bruce (Sherry) Solberg of Bentley, Alberta, Duane (Merrilyn) Solberg of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Mel (Pam) Solberg, also of Bentley and Ronda Solberg of Drayton Valley, Alberta, his step-grandmother, Ida Solberg of Sylvan Lake and numerous cousins. Eldon was predeceased by his grandparents, Harry and Beth Solberg and two brothers, Cory and Jason. A Family Funeral Service was held at the Grace Lutheran Church, Bentley, Alberta. Interment followed at the Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Bentley, Alberta.
