It is with great sadness we announce the passing of beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Preston, who passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 88 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara of 64 years; children Danella, Kevin (Lorraine), Karen (Dave) and Greg (Jenifer); granddaughters Emilie (Cam) and Samantha (Robert), great-grandson Atlas; brother Ken (Donna); sister-in- law Doris; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preston was born and raised in Red Deer and spent most of his life as part of the Red Deer community, involved with Scouts Canada, the Red Deer Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign and many other local activities.
As per Preston's request no funeral is planned. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
The family is sincerely grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff of Ward 32, RDRHC for their care and compassion during Preston's final days.
