PRYCHUN It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Richard Allen Prychun. Ric was tragically taken from us February 16, 2007 at the young age of 55. Ric was born in Selkirk, Manitoba, March 28, 1951. He remained in Manitoba until 1978 when he moved to Alberta with his family. He lived in many areas of Alberta including Wardlow, Sylvan Lake, Blackfalds and finally called Bowden his home. On his travels through Western Canada, he gained many friends through work and life. Ric had many occupations including operating cranes, driving trucks and drilling water wells. For the last twelve years he was a multifaceted employee with Inland Concrete in Olds, Alberta. Above all he was a devoted father, brother, uncle, friend and second father to many. He leaves behind his son Richard Dean Prychun (Nicole Wells) and his daughter Ronda Marie Prychun (Michael Johnston). Also left to mourn brother Ken (Diane) Prychun, sister Sharon (Tom) Wilsher, nephews Kenny (Carla) Prychun, Patrick (Dara) Prychun, Kevin (Carla) Prychun, Mathew (Alisha) Prychun, Bradley (Riley) Prychun, nieces Shelia (Darwin) Lamb, Stacy (Phil) Chan, Michelle (Dean) Bousqvet, Melanie (Jamie) Loewen, beloved friends Linda Omilusik, Pete & Carol Wiebe, Donna & Jason Kjorsvik, grandnephews, grandnieces and a multitude of close friends. He will be greeted with open arms and laid to rest with his parents, Walter and Marie Prychun in Tyndall, Manitoba. Thoughts and condolences are acknowledged and appreciated at this very difficult time. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 4:30 p.m. at the Bowden Lions Community Hall, Bowden, Alberta. Memorial donations may be made to charity of choice.
