QUERY, Mr. Jason Ryan Query of Red Deer, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at the age of 24 years. Jason was born on December 10, 1980 at Red Deer, Alberta. Jason was a very loving young man who loved life. He had a special gift of bringing joy and happiness to the lives of all those around him with his wonderful zest and passion for life. Jason loved going to school, swimming, and “cruising around in his electric wheelchair”. Jason, our son, we love you and we miss you dearly – the love we feel for you will always remain deep in our hearts forever and ever. Jason leaves to mourn his loss, his loving mother Brenda of Red Deer, his father Brian (Laurie) of Battleford, Saskatchewan and his very best friend Randy Pippus, also of Red Deer. He will also be sadly missed by his grandparents, Madeline Edge of Cold Lake, Alberta and Marcel Query of Ottawa, Ontario; his mother Brenda’s sisters Sherry Nielsen (Dan McBeath) of Red Deer, Linda Lehsner of Cold Lake, and one cousin Chad Nielsen (Tara May), also of Red Deer; his father Brian’s family Jacquie, Louise, Suzanne and John; Randy’s family Ralph and Betty Bullock of Red Deer, Rhonda and Debbie Pippus, Darlene (Doug) Fano, Rick Pippus, Brenda (Norman) Schneider; and his loving caregivers and friends. Jason was predeceased by his grandfather, Walter Edge and his grandmother, Anna Query. A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. In place of flowers Memorial Donations in Jason’s honour may be made directly to Parkland School, 6010 – 45th Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 3M4. Funds will be used to add on to the playground at the school where Jason spent so many happy hours of his life.
