Raj Aggarwal passed away peacefully at the age of 67 after a tough battle with cancer.
He was born in Arusha, Tanzania, on June 8, 1951 to Hari and Sa- vitri Aggarwal. He was one of 14 children, growing up with eight brothers and five sisters. Raj studied abroad for most of his life and went to India for college where he met the love of his life who, in 1976, became his wife.
They started their family together in Red Deer, Alberta where he joined the family business. They had two children. After a few years they moved to New Delhi, India where they spent 5 years and eventually made their way to- gether to Raleigh. As he moved from place to place, he has cre- ated a beautiful network of loyal friends and family.
He is survived by his loving soulmate of 45 years, Polee; his two children, Rubina and Rishi; and his precious two grandchildren, Nyla and Navir.
Funeral Services will be held at Renaissance Funeral Home at 7615 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615 on Tuesday, September 25, at 1pm.
