BODEN-ERICKSON Meta (1922-2009) Passed away peacefully on February 2009 in Surrey, B.C. to be with her Lord and Saviour. She was born and raised in Central Alberta and in 1941 married Harry Erickson, and together they farmed south of Eckville. They were very involved in their church, and raising their 5 children on a farm before retiring to BC in 1975, settling in Penticton. The next decade of their lives was filled with on-going family visits, new and old friends, church life, travel to many countries and mission trips to many different places and countries. Meta is survived by her second husband Clay, her five children, Jeannette (Ed) Ridley, June (Ben) Bachmann, Maurice (Kay) Erickson, Robert (Grace) Eriokson and Connie (Mel) Olsen, one sister and one brother. She was predeceased by her first husband in 1989, and by one sister and one brother. A memorial for anyone who wishes to attend a the Penticton Alliance Church, Brandon Ave., Penticton on Monday, February 16th at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery earlier in the day.
