Ralph Appleby passed on May 4th, 2018 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, at the age of 87.
Ralph was born on May 31st, 1930 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, where he grew up on the family farm in Pinkham and resided in the area until moving his family to Red Deer, Alberta in 1971.
Ralph was a farmer in his earlier years along side his brother, Harold. Ralph had a passion for flying, and spent many hours in the air piloting his planes. Ralph is predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Frances in July of 2017. He is survived by his 2 sons; Floyd (Carol), David (Lynnette), and granddaughter Stacey.
Our sincerest appreciation to the care workers and Shannon for helping keep Ralph comfortable at home over the last few years. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at the Red Deer Regional Hospital for the care in his final days.
