Ralph AVERILL

AVERILL Ralph Harlow Averill passed away at home, August 11, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 53. Ralph was born in Central Butte, Sask., October 31, 1950 and moved to Innisfail with his family where he farmed with his father. In 1972, he married Peggy Malsbury and together they farmed in the Spruce View area until they retired to their current home at Lacombe. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and he had a meticulous passion for his Harley's. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Peggy, daughter, Tana (Harvey) Shippelt, son Trent (Charmaine) Averill and five very special grandchildren, Vanessa, Tyson, Garrett. Teigen and Camren, his mother Rowena, brothers Wayne, Elwood, Lynn, two sisters Janet and Willow as well as numerous relative and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Chet and father-in-law, Jim. Family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship and gentle remembrance at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 5108 - 49 Avenue, Innisfail, AB on Saturday, August 14, 2004 from 2-4 PM.
