CONGDON Raymond (Ray) 1942 - 2009 Raymond Elliott (Ray) Congdon passed away at the age of 66 years on Saturday May 30, 2009 at the Red Deer Hospice. Ray was born in Edmonton on December 3, 1942. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary, and his sons Ryan of Edmonton, and Kyle (Alicia) of Red Deer. Ray is also survived by his 3 sisters; Sandy (Jim) Goddard, Janice (Real) Gauthier, Barbara (Allan) Glasgow, and his 5 brothers; Lloyd (Patti), Barry, Darrell, Keith (Gayle), and Bruce (Sherry). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his father, Ralph, his mother, Thelma, and his sister, Sharla. A Memorial Service in Ray’s honour will be held on Friday June 5th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 - Ross Street, Red Deer, AB with Reverend Fran Hare officiating. A private family committal will be held prior to the memorial service.
