REAY Mr. Ronald Harold Reay of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Nursing Home on March 28, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Ronald was born at Hillsdown (east of Red Deer) on June 29, 1929. Ronald worked at various jobs during his life, including 5 years service with the Canadian Navy. He spent the last 13 years as a resident of Red Deer Nursing Home where he received excellent care. He leaves to mourn his sisters, Tottie Powell of Ponoka, Nettie Glover of Red Deer, Violet Stannard of Calgary and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by his parents; Chris and Gertrude Reay, three sisters, Hazel Mitchell, Emily Forgues, Jennie Shields and four brothers Chris, Milton, Wesley and Charlie. Cremation has taken place with a graveside service at a later date. If so desired memorial donations in the memory of Ronald may be made to the charity of one's choice or to the Red Deer Nursing Home, C/O DTHR Foundation, PO BAG 5030, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 6R2. Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium entrusted with the care and arrangements. In living memory of Ronald, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park, Red Deer County.
