It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Reginald Andrew Scott. He earned what many desire; he became a true legend in his family. Reg was a remarkable man that could take simple tasks and turn them into epic journeys. He had the gift of being able to see a brilliant and beautiful finish; it did not matter if it was a house, a family event or a friendship. Reginald leaves behind: his wife, Jennifer (Gladstone), two amazing children Raechel Sophia and Eva Brynne; Father and Mother Reginald and Lana (McPherson) Scott; Sister Paula (Scott) Lenz and husband Jason; brother Cameron Scott and wife Kristine (Bennett); sister Tanya (Scott) Butcher and husband Michiel; mother-in-Law Joanna Hansen and sisters-in-law Becky and Mandy Gladstone. Reg was a proud uncle of Jared, Kyle, Stephanie, Jenna, Kaitlyn, Alissa, Sydney and Madison; a grandson of Marie McPherson and Wilda Morris; a memorable nephew of many aunts, uncles, and a cousin to countless many. He was a life-long friend of Dave Long, Roland Deleeuw, Kevin Goddard and Bert Kisjes. To everyone who was a friend of Reggie's, know that he was proud to have you share in his life. A celebration of Reg's life will be held at the First Baptist Church, Lacombe on Saturday February 8th, 2014 at 2:00 pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Central Alberta, SERVUS Credit Union Acct # 58848497 under Reg Scott's name to establish a fund for Jen, Raechel and Eva.
